ولد الفنان أحمد علاوي عام 1968 في بغداد، العراق. تخرج من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في بغداد عام 1994، وانتقل إلى الدوحة عام 1999 حيث أسس حضوراً فنياً قوياً على مدى أكثر من 25 عاماً.

يتميز أسلوبه بدمج التراث العربي الإسلامي مع اللغة الفنية المعاصرة، ويركز على ثلاثة محاور: الحركة والديناميكية في الجسد البشري، الحصان العربي الأصيل، والحرف العربي كعنصر روحاني وبصري.

Artist Biography — English

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1968, Ahmed Allawi graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1994. He moved to Doha in 1999, where he has lived and created for more than 25 years.

Ahmed Allawi blends Arab-Islamic heritage with contemporary artistic language. His work revolves around three core themes: dynamic movement of the human body, the purebred Arabian horse, and Arabic calligraphy as a spiritual and visual element.

Artistic Philosophy

Ahmed Allawi believes that authentic art must carry a strong cultural identity and deep human soul. He draws inspiration from Arab and Islamic heritage and reinterprets it through a modern lens that touches both the heart and the eye.
